YIPA - THE STORY
The Central Coast Youth In Performing Arts (YIPA) concerts began in June of 1992 as a joint initiative of Gosford West Rotary Club and Laycock Street Theatre, supported by Gosford City Council. YIPA is unique in that it is not a School Festival, it is non-competitive and it affords young people from all walks of life the opportunity to participate.

AIMS OF YIPA

To provide an opportunity for youth to perform and participate in a quality program featuring all aspects of the performing arts.

To promote and foster the development of youth with talent and interests in the Performing Arts.

To develop a feeling of community for youth on the Central Coast.

To provide financial assistance in the form of scholarships for youth with talent and interests in the Performing Arts.
